Jonathan Greer

Worship Leader

A Louisiana native, I grew up near Lake Charles in the town of Westlake, LA. Gravitating towards music at a young age, I played clarinet, saxophone, and piano throughout middle and high school. I attended a few different churches during that time and experienced views from several denominations, and though I had emotional experiences and was baptized, I didn’t truly understand salvation, nor what it meant to have a real relationship with Jesus Christ. After graduation in 1997, I enlisted as a musician in the US Marine Corps for 4 years, then transferred to the US Army and served until retirement in 2017.

In 2006, I married my wife, Brandi, who was also an Army musician, and we have two wonderful children, Ethan and Darlene. The following year, my wife and I both responded to the call to truly follow Christ and were baptized in 2008. During my military career, I served as a musician or worship leader in several churches and completed a Bachelor’s degree in Music Production in 2013. My family and I have been members of Mulberry Baptist Church since 2018.

Brandi Greer

Children's Director

Brandi was born into a military family and spent her childhood years travelling the world. She finished high school in Newnan, GA and then followed in her father's footsteps and joined the US Army as a flute player in the band. While in the service, she met her husband, Jonathan, and they were married in 2006. They have been blessed with two wonderful children, Ethan and Darlene.

While she was not raised in the church, Brandi later responded to God's calling in her life and she and her husband were baptized in 2008. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Biblical Studies and Christian Counseling and her Master's in Theology from Liberty University. Brandi has served in many different churches in a variety of positions during her and her husband's military career. She is a dedicated homeschool mom, a staunch supporter of classical education, an avid reader of great books, and she loves to knit during any free time she is blessed with. Being a lifelong learner and desiring an ever stronger foundation in her faith, Brandi seeks out and attends Bible-centered conferences and seminars in order to be a more effective teacher and learner. She and her husband have been members of Mulberry Baptist Church since 2018.

Gina Fitzgerald

Preschool & Children's Day Out Director

Gina Fitzgerald was born and raised in Houma, LA. She has been involved in church from a very young age. At the age of seven, Gina accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savoir and was baptized shortly after. Growing up, she was active in multiple areas of her church: youth group, choir, mission trips, nursery worker, etc. Church was, and still is, her second home. Her desire is for everyone to feel welcome and loved when they walk through those doors and have that feeling of "being home."

In 2001, Gina married her high school sweetheart, Jeremy. They have four amazing children: Ethan, Bradley, Carter, and Aubrey (better known as JuJu to everyone). Gina and her family have been members of Mulberry Baptist Church since 2017.

Gina has had a heart for preschool ministry her entire adult life. Her first preschool teacher position was in 2003. Gina had the most amazing preschool mentor over the years, her grandmother. While she loved being a stay at home mom while her children were young, she always felt a calling to preschool ministry. She has worked as a teacher, assistant, substitute, and assistant director over the years. But in 2019, she decided to change things a little and stepped into the high school world for a few years. She worked at Houma Christian School, where her children attended. Although she loved her time there, her desire is to be with little ones. Gina is excited and committed to build a preschool program that puts Christ first and to share the love of Jesus to your precious children.
