Kids Ministry at Mulberry Baptist Church is dedicated to sharing God's love with kids in Kindergarten through sixth grade. At MBC, we seek to teach children not only that God loves them, but how to love Him back. We want to guide children to hide God's Word in their hearts, so that biblical principles may be ingrained into their decision-making process. We want to support parents as they fulfill the primary role of teaching their children to know, love, and serve God.
Today's children are bombarded with so many influences - peer pressure, media, internet, video games - that they can easily become confused. We desire to teach children how to separate what is true from what is popular. It is more important than ever for children to learn early on to filter their decisions through the Bible rather than their peers or popular culture. We want children to understand God's immeasurable love to all of His children and that they can count on that love throughout their lives, no matter what.
On Sunday mornings at Sunday School and Kids Church, our Bible-based curriculum help us to dig deep into the Bible, discover what God is saying to us, and learn how we can apply that truth in our daily lives. On Wednesday evenings, Awana is our fast-paced evangelism and discipleship program where we hide God's Word in our hearts while we help children come to know, love, and learn how to serve Christ. Join us!
