Acts 8:1–8

Aug 23, 2026  •  Aaron Rowell

After Stephen's death, a wave of persecution led by Saul scattered the Jerusalem church, yet those who were scattered went everywhere preaching the word. Walking through Acts 8:1–8, Pastor Aaron shows that God's mission often moves through our interruptions, that God's people don't leave the mission when life gets hard, and that the gospel moves when ordinary people like Philip take Jesus wherever they go, even to Samaria, a place long looked down on. We're challenged to ask where God has scattered us, how we can stay faithful to Jesus in our own interruptions, and who our "Samaria" might be.
